I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with Eco Sprout. They really do live up to their words to really clean diapers AND eliminate the ammonia smell. I have washed my diapers twice now and would you know the detergent works?! I swear I must’ve smelled every single insert before putting them in the dryer. Clean. Fresh. Bright. The diapers even looked bright.
If the power to remove the ammonia smell isn’t enough to get you to come over to the Eco Sprout side maybe this will – the price. I found that with some popular detergents they claimed to be less expensive but I had to use more detergent to get the smell out than what was advertised to me. I bought the 96 oz bag and Eco Sprout’s directions of washing were correct. I didn’t need to add any more detergent than what was recommended. So that means that for $0.26 per load you can wash 96 loads of diapers if you buy the 96 oz bag (I used two tablespoons of detergent per load). And really you don’t need any more detergent than what Eco Sprout says to use. Keep in mind too that I followed Eco Sprout’s instructions for the presoak before washing my diapers regularly. I’m pretty confident that you will not have the same positive results I’m having if you skip this step.
I’m sold on Eco Sprout and I think you should give it a try. I think you’ll like the result.

How does EcoSprout compare to Rockin' Green in your experience? Have you used Rockin' Green? Just curious. Haven't used my cloth diapers yet, still waiting for baby to arrive!
ReplyDeleteI love Eco Sprout! I wrote a review of their detergent too because I wanted to get the word out about them. Everyone should give them a try! The price, the smell, the great customer service... what's not to love? =)
ReplyDeleteI have used rockin green and eco sprout. I do like eco sprout a little better but it seems i do need to use more detergent with eco sprout. I dont have the ammonia smell but sometimes it doesnt always get out a "poopy" smell.
ReplyDeleteI have been using Eco Sprout for almost a year and I love it. It took a little trial and error to get it just right, but after emailing Jared and adjusting my routine my diapers look and smell great! I usually wash 3 days worth of diapers but noticed it works even better when I do a smaller load.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I was kind of disappointed with Rockin' Green. :o( I love Eco Sprout though. They live up to their claims.
