Hyena Cart Mobile: I shopped and you get to win it!

About Hyena Cart  

Hyena Cart has been around longer than I have been involved in the cloth diaper industry.  In fact, I have owned a few Hyena Cart stores in my day.  It's a great place to get your start if you're interested in selling your own handmade goods.  Setting up your own Hyena Cart store is easy, you benefit from Hyena Cart's built in customer base and reputation, similar to etsy's platform, and you don't have to worry about domain names, stand alone websites and payment processing gateways.

Recently Hyena Cart took a big step and updated their HC Mobile site!  Many people now use their phones exclusively to surf the web, shop, chat on Facebook, email and more; so a mobile friendly website is of utmost importance.

As a customer, I decided to see just how easy it was to shop on Hyena Cart's mobile site and what better way than to buy something!  I went shopping and the first thing that caught my eye was an adorable Owl cover hilariously named "Nice Hooters!"  The store name is Rock-a-bye Booty.
I decided to purchase this diaper cover to giveaway to you all!  Enter to win at the end of this post!

I found it really easy to navigate the new Hyena Cart mobile and at any time I could switch between Full Site and Mobile Site which is nice.
I loved that I DID NOT have to login to my HC account to shop.  This is important to me because I frequently can not remember my username, the email I signed up with or the password.  Having to go through recovering all that info would have been a bummer.  I liked that I could check out as a guest and be done within moments.
As a customer I love that I can shop on Hyena Cart and know that I'm supporting stay-at-home mom owned businesses.  Some sell just a few items and some sell a lot.  It's fun knowing that there's a mama who made the item I purchased with her own two hands and now she's packing it up to send to me....well in this case YOU!  Since I bought it to giveaway with this post.

As a fellow business owner, I like that Hyena Cart gives smaller businesses a chance to succeed and open their own sites with little to no knowledge on how to use a website.  They make it easy to learn, use and set up your own store.

  6. I knew about hyena cart, but haven't made a purchase form hyena cart. I have browsed. I bought a diaper from a WAHM who uses it, but since it was a custom diaper we never went through the site.

  13. Such great finds on hyena cart. I have several items from several stores on my "must have before LO gets here" list. Love it. Haven't tried the mobile app but like the fact that it switches easily between mobile and web versions.

  51. I have heard of them, even opened up a shop with them. And unfortunately it was the worst experience of my life. Even though the customer service was great from the person running the site, I got no sales what so ever in the 2 months I was there. And I've personally never bought from there either.

    Not worth it in my opinion. Stick to Etsy. Tried and true.

  54. I've never heard of Hyena Cart before. Their prints are adorable. My BFF is currently in labour (like this minute, smile) and I'll definitely tell her about them.
