Recently I posted my review of MamaMade‘s Un-paper Towels. They have three snaps on each side and snap on to a paper towel roll for use as un-paper towels. I seemed to get a lot of flack for promoting an eco-friendly alternative that was pricey and the consensus was that the snaps were mostly unnecessary. If you get them without snaps then you can just fold them or place them on the table neatly, no need for snaps and extra expense.
I started to wonder, are these people right? Do I really need these snaps and is it that necessary to put be able to put them nicely onto a roll? Probably not.
Days and weeks went by. Our un-paper towels went from being used on a roll to being folded and placed into a bowl on the dining table. I give…perhaps the roll is just not necessary.
Then it happened. I ran out of dish towels and we had our un-paper towel on the handle of the stove. It continued to slip and fall off and I was picking it up off the floor over and over and over again.
We can dry our hands without the use of paper towels or even dish towels and my un-paper towels have suddenly become even more of a great investment (although I got them to review at no charge).
Now, I am even more in love with my un-paper towels and due to this GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND of a discovery, I am glad I have snaps on my un-paper towels! Yay!
So am I as brilliant as I think or have you un-paper towel users seen this trick before?
