Lately my kids have had an aversion to anything that’s store bought. It’s kind of like opposites day every day.
It’s as if my kids take every item, consider it’s purpose and then use it for the exact opposite.
Summer is here, school has been out for nearly two weeks and I’m already irreversibly crazy, have been for a while now, so each day is a journey to find what will keep them busy and happy from about 6:30am to 8:00pm each day.
So that’s when it hit me. Painters Tape and Bud Light beer boxes! I cut up a ton of pieces of cardboard in various sizes and gave them each a pair of scissors and a roll of painters tape. They were occupied for hours.
The great thing is that the possibilites are endless, cheap and the tape won’t rip the paint off the walls or the finish off the furniture when you discover they’ve stuck it EVERYWHERE.
So, without further adieu…I present you a Beer Box Lap Top and Painters Tape Castle! You know you want to PIN these ideas to your “Ghetto Crafts” Pinterest Board! ;)
