Flushable Liners, Do they work? Plus, enter to win 2 rolls from Eco Sprout!

This post may contain affiliate links

There is much discussion surrounding the use of flushable diaper liners.  Do they work, are they just an added expense, are they worth it?  My answer is yes.  I’m going to explain why AND I’m going to give you a chance to win because I am giving away (2) rolls of Eco Sprout’s Eco-Bottom Liners!

My experience is that if something is even going to catch SOME of the poop in my babies diaper and make it so that all I have to do is carefully grab the liner and put it in the toilet…then I am all for it!  The less poop that gets smooshed into the diapers lining the easier it will be to launder.

In some diaper changes, the liner will completely eliminate the need to use a diaper sprayer.  In some cases the liner will have some of the poop stuck on it and in a few cases the liner will get bunched up and miss the poop all together.  I feel like I’d rather use them and take the chance that it WILL catch the poop than not use them at all because I don’t want to have wasted 6¢-8¢, depending on the cost of the roll of liners.

Not only can you save yourself time by using flushable diaper liners, you may be able to save yourself some money by reducing the amount of rinse cycles or unexpected wash cycles.  Trust me, I’ve had those laundry days where you’ve scraped the poop into the toilet, run your rinse/soak cycle, added detergent, washed, rinsed and then when you go to put the diapers in the dryer…you discover they need another wash because one diaper still is not clean and you know it’s uncleanliness has affected the rest of your load.  That sucks!

Want to see diaper liners in action?  The video below shows a Fuzzi Bunz diaper that was used with a flushable liner.

Flushable diaper liners are soft, natural and also provide an additional barrier for diaper rash cremes if you’re afraid of buildup. By using liners you’ll experience less of those pesky poop stains as well.

So, what are you waiting for?  At just $8.95 for a roll of 100, you really NEED to try these!

The Giveaway Details:  Eco Sprout has given me TWO rolls of their Eco-Bottom Flushable Diaper Liners to giveaway to you all!

Their liners are made of Bamboo and super soft!  Additional Eco-Bottom Liner Details are:

  • Biodegradable
  • Non-Toxic
  • Fragrance Free
  • Dye Free
  • Chlorine Free
  • Flushable*
  • Breatheable
  • 100 tear-off sheets

We have used the Bummis brand, full time with our first once he started solids and now only for daycare and going out with our second. We use fabric liners at home now. I LOVE them, they have saved many diaper spraying hours over the years!

We love liners! My son just started solids and they have been a life saver. We have been experimenting with only using them around the time of day he usually poops and its been working out well (that way a roll will last longer since we’re not using them every change)

I use liners, they have there pros and cons.
pros they catch poo that you dont have to rinse.
cons…. if you have an active baby they wiggle up into the middle giving baby/toddler a wedgie and not really doing its job.

I use them on my 19 mo old, and its hit and miss if they wiggle into the middle. BUT when i forget to put one in, and she poos….. oooh Im so mad at me for forgetting. i maninly use them because i dont have a sprayer………….. so yeah

I haven’t tried them yet because the reviews on Amazon were so mixed for every kind and I didn’t know which to try. My little one is five months old and they’d sure be helpful now, especially when we’re traveling or visiting and can’t use a sprayer. She’s eating purees now and poops pretty frequently. Also, perhaps these would have saved our diapers and inserts from getting stained while she was eating beets!

We love our flushable liners. They are so easy to use and make the poo less scary for daddy/grandmas. We have been using them since around 7 months. They were the best option for our family since we put our condo on the market around the same time and didn’t think the diaper sprayer attached the back of the toilet would be appealing to prospective buyers.
