Will you be the Teacher's Pet?  One twitter party student/attendee will win the Teacher's Pet Award!  A $50 Amazon Gift Card from Snappi Baby!  This award will be based up participation.  Not necessarily the amount of tweets you sent, but by the content and quality of your tweets.  Will you be the the Teacher's Pet?

Winners will be chosen at random and announced during the party. All winners will be verified after the party and must have tweeted at least once, with the hashtag #schoolofcloth, between the hours of 9-10pm EST. If they did not then an alternate winner will be chosen.

Because in a past Twitter Party, the Grand Prize, an Ergo Carrier, was stolen by a scammer, you MUST wait until you receive an email from me notifying you that you won and then you can respond to it to claim your prize.  I will be contacting you with the email that you use when claiming your entries on Rafflecopter.

Participants with private twitter accounts must change to public for the duration of the party or else their participation will not be visible and verification of their involvement will not be possible.

If you win and I can not verify your participation due to having a private twitter account then I will simply be moving on to another winner.  In other words, you will be disqualified.

I would truly love to have some information on cloth diapering a child with eczema. Especially, what cloth diaper safe ointments have been a success, as well as what detergents are best for extremely sensitive skin. I have asked others before with little luck, mainly people trying too figure out the root cause of the eczema, which is nice, but we are figuring that out. But when he flares up, I would like to have some options in my arsenal besides what I have been doing, which is turning to disposables.

I only use prefolds (jelly roll – I love how it keeps everything in and I rarely have to wash covers!) with the occasional Flip diaper thrown in (mostly as something easier for when we’re away from home for a diaper change). Can you tell me more about inserts & overnight diapering? So far she does great, even all night, but I’m guessing she may have heavier wetting as she gets older and wonder if it will begin to bother her at some point – for now she doesn’t seem to mind being wet for a while at all.

I am new to cloth diapering. Literally today is the first time every! I am excited but she got a rash and I’m not sure what it could be because we tried so many different cloth diapers/liners etc… I don’t know where to begin with what could have been the culprit. My friend came and bought me a bunch to try out.

How do I know my diapers are truly clean? With cleaning other thingsl was reassured ( or so i thought) withdetergent bubbles, bleach and lingering fragrances, all of which aren’t advised for cloth.

It is really disappointing sometimes. I know, you can’t win often– but that’s the thing. Some people do. One of the winners from this party has won at at LEAST two other parties in the last 6 weeks. She’s also a popular figure in the cloth diaper online community. Makes you wonder.

Especially when the teacher’s pet winner only made a handful of posts, few of which were anything of depth. There were far more active people who gave great advice, help, answers, comedic relief and could have been chosen.

This is not the first time that the cloth diaper leaders have let me down. There were also a few pinterest contests for unique and creative boards where the winners were highly generic, and unique entries were completely overlooked (by different organizations). I have won something once. In a year. I’m ok with not winning, but please don’t say you are going to pick someone who does great and then just go with someone whose contribution is mediocre at best. Thank you for all the great prizes offered, but I think I’ll stick to Monday nights on twitter where there aren’t prizes usually.
