Tell me a little about you and your family?
My name is Coleen and I am the owner of Sweet Little Blessings. My husband Kevin and I have 12 children, so I’ve had lots of cloth diapering experience! We have 9 boys and 3 girls from 17 years to 10 months. In my spare time I love to sew, scrapbook and read. Most of all, I enjoy homeschooling and spending time with my husband and children.
Where are you located?
In Lancaster, PA
Do you currently have any little ones in cloth diapers?
Right now I have 2 in cloth diapers and one who is working on potty training.
What was your very first cloth diaper?
I think the first cloth diaper I ever bought was a Kushies all in one I saw in a catalog after our 4th baby was born. That was a long time ago! I even sewed some diapers for him myself. After that I started researching cloth diapers and found FuzziBunz and bumGenius. Now I have all kinds of diapers in my stash!
What is your favorite part about owning your own business?
That I can be at home with my children! I also enjoy talking with other moms and answering questions. It is fun to be able to see all the new products too!
What business accomplishment are you most proud of?
That I was able to build my website myself, especially since I had very little computer experience!
What is one business goal you have for the future?
I would like to add a blog to my site and for my business to continue to grow.
Best advice you’d have for a newbie considering cloth diapers?
Try not to be overwhelmed by all the options and information on cloth diapering! It is really easy!
