Today I’m featuring a brief interview with one of my sponsors, Carissa! She’s the owner of WeeWillieWinks based out of the Orlando Florida area, just about an hour west of where I live on the East Coast of Florida.
Read the interview below and don’t forget to check out the special offer just for Cloth Diaper Geek fans at the bottom of the post!
Tell me a little about you and your family?
My name is Carissa. I’m blissfully married to my college roommates cousin! We dated for five years before we married. We’ve been married for 5 years. After a couple years we were blessed with a spirited little boy. He definitely keeps us on our toes. We are planning to homeschool him. Therefore, between running a business and a household, we work on learning about the word around us. We’d love to have more kids, but unfortunately we haven’t been blessed with another yet. After a long time trying on our own we have started infertility treatments and are hoping to expand our family soon.
Where are you located?
We are right outside Orlando, Fl in Winter Springs.
Do you currently have any little ones in cloth diapers?
No, sadly. I miss the fluffy butt.
What was your very first cloth diaper?
Thirsties Pocket AIOs.
What is your favorite part about owning your own business?
Waking up with my son everyday and being able to snuggle in bed without having somewhere to be.
What business accomplishment are you most proud of?
Supporting my community. I love being the local go to gal for cloth diapers!
What is one business goal you have for the future?
I’d love to open a B&M in the future when my son is older and doesn’t need me all day. :)
Best advice you’d have for a newbie considering cloth diapers?
Try a couple different products before settling on one. Every cloth diaper fits each baby different.
