This post is brought to you through my partnership with Stonyfield Yogurt and AZA
Stonyfield Yogurt & AZA are dedicated to conservation and education!
Can you imagine our planet without elephants, penguins, pandas, whales or sea turtles? Neither can I! Thankfully earth-conscious brands like Stonyfield are teaming up with non-profits like AZA to promote wildlife conservation and sustainability through education and promotions like the Free Kids AZA Zoo Ticket campaign.
There’s no better way to inspire and educate kids than by introducing them to unique animal species they might otherwise only see on television and in magazines. Stonyfield and AZA created the #ImagineHow call to action where kids are asked for their creative conservation ideas. How can a cow help save endangered animals like penguins? I love how this question really seems like it couldn’t possibly have a realistic solution when here we are…Stonyfield’s dairy cows are helping endangered animals through partnerships and campaigns just like this one, a very “outside-of-the-box” solution!
Are you located near an AZA zoo?
I was thrilled to discover that my local zoo, the Brevard Zoo, is an AZA member! This not only means that locals can head to one of our many local grocery stores to pick up select Stonyfield products and receive a FREE kids zoo ticket, it also means that I was able to take AZA and Stonyfield up on their offer to send myself and my kids to the Brevard Zoo!

On Mother’s Day my children and I set off on our AZA zoo adventure and we couldn’t have had a better time!

Locally our Indian River Lagoon is in great distress. I was excited to see our zoo educating our local community on conservation and restoration efforts. From the benefit of adding oyster beds to regrowing mangroves, there was a lot to learn and great hands-on ways for kids to get involved.
Our day at the Brevard Zoo was amazing and despite the fact that my kids have been there dozens of times, they are still endlessly intrigued by the exhibits and animals every time we go. I couldn’t help but feel super lucky to live in an area with a local zoo dedicated to conservation both locally and worldwide.
Stonyfield and AZA’s FREE KIDS ZOO TICKET offer ends 9/1/17 so there’s still plenty of time to take advantage! Look for specially marked Stonyfield Kids Yogurt in your local grocer or click HERE for redemption details.
Disclosure: I am a member of the Stonyfield Bloggers team and was provided four free zoo tickets in exchange for this blog post.
I’m Julie, a former cloth diaper retailer who discovered a passion for the industry. Now, instead of selling cloth diapers, I advocate them and promote small businesses I love who sell and manufacture them.
