They say that men are one of two things; they’re either a boob man or a butt man. If this doesn’t make sense to you let me put it plainly: some like more junk in the trunk while others like a full bosom. Well, my hubby must be a boob man because honey, I have got some rather large girls up front! When I had the opportunity to try out Leading Lady’s organic nursing braI was intrigued to see how the bra would hold up against my rather heavy milk-filled girls.
Made from 100% organic cotton the Leading Lady nursing bra is incredibly soft. I haven’t worn organic cotton before and let me tell you sister, I am a convert! Holy softness Batgirl! Really I’m not exaggerating. I know it might seem like I am but there is a difference between normal cotton and organic cotton. The price for the organic stuff is so worth the touch…the feel…okay, sorry for the throwback to ‘90’s advertising.
The price point for the Leading Lady is very reasonable. My mother believes in a good support system both emotionally and physically. (Ha! I don’t think I could have more fun writing a review than I am now.) It’s because of my mother’s beliefs in good brassieres that I have always gone to specialty stores to shop for my undergarments. I can happily and confidently tell you that Leading Lady is a good fitting bra that can be found in your average retail store such as Kohl’s, JCPenny’s, amongst others, for a reasonable price.
I’ve been wearing this bra off and on for the past three weeks so that I could give it an adequate review. I’ve also washed it twice (to be more specific, I’ve hand washed it b/c I hand wash all of my bras which is something you should do too). Through the wearing and washing the bra’s shape and fit has held up. It hasn’t gotten stiff or stretched out which is encouraging.
The one-handed nursing clasps are really easy to use with one hand. I have another nursing bra that is excellent for my larger breasts but the clasps are so annoying. I swear my daughter is on the verge of a milk deprived tantrum by the time I can finally get the thing undone to feed her. That’s not the case for this bra; easy peasy on and off. They stay put as well and do not come unknowingly undone.
My only criticism of the bra is the straps. They’re smaller than what I’m used to and because of that I was really hesitant to even try wearing the bra outside of the house. I am happy to report though that those little straps do surprisingly well! It’s true that if your bar fits you correctly you could pull the straps down from your shoulders and the bra would stay in place. It’s the band that really holds the girls up after all. Don’t let the look of the bra fool you, it’s made for us well endowed mamas and it does do a job well done!
This post is sponsored however there was no fee. A review bra was provided at no charge to the reviewer and she was not compensated for her opinions of this product.
