I thought I could ramble a bit. I don’t cook much and when I do it’s pretty plain jane stuff, unless the seasoning comes with the meal. I don’t have complex taste in food nor do I desire unusual meals or ones that take too much time, unless of course someone else is doing the cooking.
However, spices look nice in my cabinet and my husband uses them, sometimes.
When I was organizing my spice cabinet the other day I found things in there from ages ago, literally, so I tossed them and decided to order some new ones.
- Paprika, that sounds fancy, Blue’s Clues uses it, so I ordered that.
- Tellicherry Peppercorns in a hand grinder thingie, I hate pepper but everyone else in my house has been using it.
- Adobo, no clue of it’s country of origin but I ordered it and used it and it’s pretty tasty on chicken.
I’ve always dreamed of becoming a Martha Stewart in the kitchen but I have no desire to learn so I guess I should be thankful that my husband loves cooking. I guess I just stick with cleaning.
Random blog post I know. So do you use paprika? What’s it for?
I’m Julie, a former cloth diaper retailer who discovered a passion for the industry. Now, instead of selling cloth diapers, I advocate them and promote small businesses I love who sell and manufacture them.
