The NEW PeeNut Cloth Diapering System by Tots Bots

The Tots Bots PeeNut Wrap Size 2 in the print Sing a Song of Sixpence has to be one of the cutest prints I have seen. This print is the perfect fit for Autumn. The cover has encased thigh elastic and back elastic. The Tots Bots PeeNut Wrap has soft but sticky aplix with individual laundry tabs.  I love how this cover doesn’t only use elastic for a perfect fit It uses a wrapping style around the legs for a close but comfort fit around chunky and trim thighs. I also like when I washed the cover it felt dry straight out of the washing machine so it  needed minimal drying time.

The Tots Bots PeeNut System is a two-size system that comes with 2 inserts that snap to themselves then into the cover. The snaps are high-quality resin snaps that won’t bother babies bottom. The insert is made from a very soft bamboo and polyester blend with a microfiber core (That increases absorbency and cuts down drying time) The width of the insert is a whopping 5.5 inches wide which is one of the wider inserts  on the market. When you use both inserts this is the perfect night time diaper.

This bundle also comes with a stay dry washable fleece liner which can be added on top of the insert. This is perfect for night time the keeps babies bottom dry all night.  *Both inserts during the day are not necessary they a very absorbent on their own.

The only thing that I didn’t necessarily love, but can see being handy are the Tots Bots flushable liners. When paired  with the inserts I found that with my toddler and crawler it bunched in the middle and wouldn’t stay put. I feel that also has to do with the fact the flushable liners are only 5 inches in width compared to the insert which is 5.5 inches in width.  I used the flushable liner with my 2-month-old it did stay in place but stood no chance against the newborn poop that leaked straight through the flushable liner.  This is often the case with flushable liners.  They are a godsend for some and don’t work at all for others.  Cost wise, often the chance that you’ll save yourself some extra work when washing or spraying the diapers is worth it.  Every poop the fleece or flushable liners catch is ones less that you have to deal with at the toilet.
I’d also like to mention that when the diaper is at it largest the insert does not cover the whole backside it leaves about 2 inches uncovered at the top however it didn’t cause any leaks or any extra mess and would likely be worn on this setting with older and larger children who don’t always need the extra coverage up top.

I love this diaper system, having 3 under age 2 I need a diaper that can fit everyone and the PeeNut System definitely does.  I would definitely recommend this to caregivers as it would be great for experienced cloth diapering families and complete newbies.
